Impactful Pursuits helps purposeful people move from inner friction to freedom through structured formation—integrating temperament, purpose, and neuroscience-informed habit change with clarity, courage, and care.

Change becomes possible when we stop fighting ourselves and start understanding ourselves. Formation always outlasts force. Let’s move together through the phases (Awareness → Alignment → Practice)

I’m an International Coaching Federation,  Accredited Certified Coach (ICF ACC).  I help people discover their God-given, biological temperament so they can embrace their natural strengths and ‘go after’ their “challenge virtue”, by developing impactful habits, and building character on their journey to a happier, more satisfying and purposeful life. (https://alexhavard.com). I help people become more aware of their inner dialogue and strengthen their mental self-command with the Positive Intelligence tools to turn insights into action. (https://www.positiveintelligence.com/ ). I have 4 years experience life coaching.  In addition to my past Mechanical Engineering experience at Motorola Inc and as a Systems Engineer at Connecticut Yankee Atomic Power Plant, I have 30 years of experience as a sounding board and coach to my husband and now 4 adult children. In addition to my coaching passion, I love to hike, workout and volunteer at my church.

Brain Health Coach and Fitness Expert

National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach

32 years of experience

I'm here to tell you the truth—and help you do something with it.

When you work with me, you're getting a coach who respects your intelligence enough to explain the actual science—and then tell you exactly what to do about it. No sugar-coating, no "just think positive," and definitely no vague wellness platitudes about self-care baths fixing your insulin resistance.

I meet you where your biology is, not where Instagram says you should be.

Your brain fog at 3 PM? That's not a character flaw—it's your blood sugar crashing because you ate a "healthy" smoothie for breakfast that spiked your glucose. Your inability to stick to that exercise routine? Maybe it's because you're forcing HIIT workouts when your cortisol is already through the roof. I look at what's actually happening in your body and brain, then we build from there.

Behavior is never the root.

You can track your macros, hit 10,000 steps, and follow the protocol perfectly—but if your nervous system is stuck in a survival state, if the story you're living is "my body is broken and I have to force it to comply," nothing sustainable happens.

The women I work with know what to do. They've done it all. What's missing isn't more data or better discipline—it's addressing what's underneath the behavior.

How you think about your changing body. What you feel when you look at yourself. The story you're living about what this transition means.

That's where the real shift happens. Because when you change the internal narrative from "I'm failing" to "my biology is recalibrating and I need to work WITH it," the behaviors follow naturally.

I help you make fewer, better decisions—not more perfect ones.

The wellness industry loves giving you 47 things to optimize. I help you identify the 3-5 moves that will actually move the needle for YOUR brain and body. We focus on what matters most, in the order that makes sense for where you are right now. Because when everything feels urgent, nothing gets done.

I teach you to listen to your body like the sophisticated feedback system it is.

You know that weird thing where you can't explain why you need to move your body, or why certain foods leave you feeling off? I help you decode those signals. We bring somatic awareness into the process—not in a woo-woo way, but in a "your nervous system is trying to tell you something important" way. You learn to trust what your body knows.

I personalize everything, because you're not a protocol.

What works for your best friend won't necessarily work for you. Your sleep issues might be tied to your muscle mass and protein intake. Hers might be about evening light exposure and cortisol patterns. I don't hand you a cookie-cutter plan—we figure out what YOUR brain and body need, based on your unique biology, lifestyle, and goals.

I practice what I teach—and I love what I practice.

Most mornings, you'll find me out on a nature walk before the day gets loud. There's something about moving my body outside, breathing real air, and letting my brain settle that I can't get anywhere else. When I need more—when I need to feel strong and capable—I'm in the gym with the weights. And when I really need to reset, I'm hiking in the mountains, reminding myself what my body can do.

In the kitchen, I'm all about experimenting with fresh ingredients and new flavors—but I keep it simple. I'm not trying to impress anyone with fussy techniques. I want food that tastes good, fuels my brain, and doesn't require a culinary degree to pull off. If it takes more than 30 minutes or has more than 10 ingredients, I'm probably not making it!

And when I'm not working directly with clients? I'm reading the newest research on brain health. Not because I have to, but because I genuinely love it. Every new study, every emerging insight about how our brains age and adapt—it all gets me fired up about what's possible for the women I work with.

Here's the thing: Energy, focus, and vitality aren't just buzzwords for me. They're what I cultivate in my own life every single day. And when I have the honor of working with a woman who's ready to reclaim those things for herself? That's when this work stops being a job and becomes a calling.

I want every woman I encounter—whether in my practice, at a speaking engagement, or in passing conversation—to know she can be the sharpest, strongest version of herself for as long as possible. Because she deserves that. And because it's actually achievable when you know how to work with your biology instead of against it.

Live with Purpose. Lead with Courage. Create a Legacy of Impact.

I help purpose-driven professionals and leaders who feel stuck, burned out, or overwhelmed regain clarity, confidence, and forward momentum—without losing what matters most.

I’m Jonathan Armel, MCC, an Executive Coach, Leadership Catalyst, and Ziglar Coach Leader. I work with high-achieving individuals and leaders who look successful on the outside but feel uncertain, fatigued, or misaligned on the inside. They know there’s more to life and leadership—but the path forward isn’t clear.

Many people reach a point where effort no longer produces fulfillment. The pace is unsustainable, decisions feel heavier, and confidence quietly erodes. Left unaddressed, this often leads to burnout, strained relationships, and the sense of simply going through the motions—missing the clarity, energy, and impact they were created for.

That’s where my work comes in.

My coaching helps clients slow down, gain awareness, and realign how they think, lead, and live. I don’t offer quick fixes or advice. Instead, I create a focused, challenging, and supportive space where clients can see patterns clearly, reconnect with their values and purpose, and take intentional action toward meaningful change.

As a Master Certified Coach (ICF) and founder of 2b On Purpose, my approach blends values-based leadership, behavioral science, deep listening, and accountability. For clients who desire it, I also integrate faith and a Christian perspective—supporting alignment between belief, values, and daily decisions.

Clients often describe leaving our work with greater clarity, renewed confidence, and a stronger sense of direction—along with practical steps they can apply immediately in their work, leadership, and life.

If you’re navigating a life or leadership transition, feeling stretched thin, or sensing it’s time to realign and move forward with purpose and courage, let’s connect.

I work best with people who are ready to reflect honestly, take responsibility, and step into what’s next—on purpose.

Hello and welcome! After many years of feeling unwell and struggling to cope, I frequently found myself unable to get out of bed to go to work because of exhaustion. Every doctor suggested it was depression or that I needed to lose weight. They told me it was normal for moms of three kids (mine are all boys) to feel tired all the time. Embarrassed, I would agree and leave, feeling ashamed that I couldn’t feel better, knowing that my drinking was only making things worse. I started getting help for alcoholism, then for depression. I divorced my husband of fifteen years. Finally, after over ten years of my own research, I discovered I had a genetic trait responsible for many of my symptoms. This condition requires me to actively pace myself and do less each day so my body doesn’t crash. I had to accept mobility aids in my life—a hard reality to face. However, once I knew the true issue, I finally felt validated. Desperate for a chance to feel better and earn an income, I recalled how, during sobriety, I had learned that to live a new life, I had to try something new. I tried coaching and in becoming a coaching client, I instantly found the space I had been seeking. The coach challenged me to explore my thinking, and through this process, I discovered that health and wellness coaching was the perfect way to channel my unique and varied life experiences. I completed my training in health and wellness coaching from the University of Portland and became a board-certified health and wellness coach in 2023. I am currently in an MA program at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, to expand my expertise in health and well-being coaching. I struggled with intense summers in the Northern California valley, and now enjoy the more consistent weather in South Bay, Los Angeles. My three boys are now grown—a bioengineer, a zookeeper, and a musician still in college. My mom now lives with my husband and me, and we enjoy beach and museum trips, as well as exploring dog-friendly and accessible beaches with our dogs, Shelby and Pepper. My most cherished times are visits from our kids and stepkids (seven in total!) and friends. It is my honor to walk this path with you. Give me a call to further discuss how I can best assist you.

I know firsthand how overwhelming life can feel when you’re juggling a demanding career, family, and everything else because I’ve been there myself. After experiencing burnout, I realized that wellness isn’t just about nutrition. To restore balance, I also needed to address sleep, hydration, stress management, and intentional movement. Self-care couldn’t just be a buzzword;  it had to become a reality. By focusing on one goal at a time, I regained my energy and clarity, which inspired me to train as a health coach and culinary nutrition expert so I could help others do the same.

Medication expert and lifestyle strategist - Health and Wellness Coach

Hello there and thanks for taking the time to be curious! I'm Maria and founder of Verity Wellness. I am a National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC), a Clinical Pharmacist, and a HealthTech professional. But before all of those labels, I am a survivor, a mom and a navigator of complexity.

I specialize in working with women whose bodies  - and lives -   have gone through significant change.

I offer a unique intersection of biochemistry and behavior:

  • The Scientist: I understand your prescriptions, your metabolic treatments, and the clinical data.
  • The Human: I know the fear of a diagnosis and the "messy middle" of recovery.

We will work together to integrate your medical goals with your lifestyle so that your health supports your ambition.

My clients are often navigating transitions such as GLP-1 medications, recovery after cancer, hormonal shifts, burnout, or the physical impact of years in high-pressure careers.

These moments can be life-saving, life-changing, or long-overdue - but they can also leave you feeling disconnected from your body, your routines, and even your sense of self. You may even feel like you are meeting a stranger, when you look at yourself in the mirror.

My work is to help you stabilize, rebuild, and create a way of living that supports you holistically.

Who works with me?

I work with women who are used to holding a lot.
Leaders. Professionals. Caregivers. Survivors.

Many of my clients come to coaching during or after:

  • GLP-1 or other metabolic treatments
  • Cancer treatment or major medical events
  • Midlife hormonal changes
  • Burnout from high-pressure careers
  • Significant weight or body changes
  • Periods of extreme stress or caregiving

They don’t always need motivation.
They need stability, clarity, and a way forward that actually fits their life.

Why Work With Me?

I will provide a unique blend of clinical medication expertise and researched backed behavioral health coaching, leading to improved health and wellness management; the peace of mind that comes from knowing your lifestyle and your treatment are finally in sync. Coaching is personalized and holistic, defined by your own values and vitality.

I come to our coaching sessions with a deep well of empathy because I understand what it is like to have to face a life-threatening diagnosis and its aftermath. I know the fear, the overwhelm, and the exhaustion of transition. I will help you build your own roadmap that will actually work for a life that doesn't slow down.

I bridge the gap between clinical data and the messy, beautiful reality of human transition and help you navigate the dark. I can help you to integrate medical and lifestyle goals so that you can attain sustainable change. I don't just coach habits; I understand your biochemistry and your prescriptions.

All sessions meet HIPAA compliance ensuring strictest confidentiality and your health information is kept private and secure.

Step-by-step we will find momentum in the direction that you choose and I will support and coach you on your journey.

My approach to health and wellness coaching is holistic, and built on three pillars:

  • Clinical Intelligence, Human Heart: I understand the science of your meds and the soul of your journey.

  • Sustainable Ambition: We build the capacity to lead with confidence without burning out.

  • Global Perspective: Having lived in England, Australia, Singapore, and now San Francisco, USA, I know that wellness isn't one-size-fits-all.  My coaching is grounded in the belief that you can honor your culture, background and heritage while protecting your health.

My superpower is hearing what you aren't saying. I help you unpack the overwhelm so you can find your most vital self.

Hi! I'm Amanda. I am the CEO of a tech company, an Integrative Health & Wellness Coach, and a Mother of Dragons (*cough* Frenchtons). I partner with tech professionals struggling with life balance who feel like they are stuck in a nonstop cycle.

As a CEO, I understand how frustrating it is to keep up with life's demands and rarely have time to prioritize our wellbeing. Constantly being pulled in a million directions - juggling work, relationships, family, meetings - is a surefire way for our health to take a backseat. Life has become a nonstop shuffle. I started down the coaching path as a way to find better balance within my life. It has turned into a passion for helping others make progress in areas society doesn't deem as important - such as our health.

Working side by side with clients to find solutions that work for them instead of a generic prescription is where working with me is different. We're all unique, which means we all need a custom approach, to be heard fully, and to find the right plan that works for us. What worked yesterday won't always work today, and no solution is a “one size fits all.” I would be honored to use the skills I have to be a part of your journey.
