I’m a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) who specializes in supporting night owls who feel out of sync with the world around them.

For most of my life, I was told - directly or indirectly - that something was “wrong” with my sleep, energy, or timing. That if I just tried harder, woke up earlier, or forced myself into a routine that didn’t fit, everything would fall into place. It didn’t.

What I eventually learned - through training, experience, and working closely with people facing the same struggles - is that many night owls don’t need more discipline. They need understanding, alignment, and nervous system support.

My work focuses on helping night owls get back in sync with life and themselves. This is achieved by helping them sleep more deeply, feel more energized and productive during the day, and experience greater ease in their relationships - without shame, rigid schedules, or forcing themselves into someone else’s rhythm.

I take a compassionate, evidence-based approach that honors your bio-individuality, your life circumstances, and your capacity. Together, we look at what’s actually happening in your nights, your energy patterns, and your stress responses and then gently build sustainable changes that feel supportive rather than exhausting.

You don’t need to become a morning person to feel well. You just need an approach that finally works with you.

If you're a night owl who is tired of forcing yourself to fit a mold that never worked, you're in the right place!

I know firsthand how overwhelming life can feel when you’re juggling a demanding career, family, and everything else because I’ve been there myself. After experiencing burnout, I realized that wellness isn’t just about nutrition. To restore balance, I also needed to address sleep, hydration, stress management, and intentional movement. Self-care couldn’t just be a buzzword;  it had to become a reality. By focusing on one goal at a time, I regained my energy and clarity, which inspired me to train as a health coach and culinary nutrition expert so I could help others do the same.

Hello and welcome! After many years of feeling unwell and struggling to cope, I frequently found myself unable to get out of bed to go to work because of exhaustion. Every doctor suggested it was depression or that I needed to lose weight. They told me it was normal for moms of three kids (mine are all boys) to feel tired all the time. Embarrassed, I would agree and leave, feeling ashamed that I couldn’t feel better, knowing that my drinking was only making things worse. I started getting help for alcoholism, then for depression. I divorced my husband of fifteen years. Finally, after over ten years of my own research, I discovered I had a genetic trait responsible for many of my symptoms. This condition requires me to actively pace myself and do less each day so my body doesn’t crash. I had to accept mobility aids in my life—a hard reality to face. However, once I knew the true issue, I finally felt validated. Desperate for a chance to feel better and earn an income, I recalled how, during sobriety, I had learned that to live a new life, I had to try something new. I tried coaching and in becoming a coaching client, I instantly found the space I had been seeking. The coach challenged me to explore my thinking, and through this process, I discovered that health and wellness coaching was the perfect way to channel my unique and varied life experiences. I completed my training in health and wellness coaching from the University of Portland and became a board-certified health and wellness coach in 2023. I am currently in an MA program at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, to expand my expertise in health and well-being coaching. I struggled with intense summers in the Northern California valley, and now enjoy the more consistent weather in South Bay, Los Angeles. My three boys are now grown—a bioengineer, a zookeeper, and a musician still in college. My mom now lives with my husband and me, and we enjoy beach and museum trips, as well as exploring dog-friendly and accessible beaches with our dogs, Shelby and Pepper. My most cherished times are visits from our kids and stepkids (seven in total!) and friends. It is my honor to walk this path with you. Give me a call to further discuss how I can best assist you.

Integrative Health and Nutrition Coach. Neuroscience‑Based Stress, Nutrition, Gut and Hormone Reset

National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach

As a Neuroscientist turned Integrative Health Coach, I’m often asked, "So how did you get here?" My journey into Integrative Health and Nutrition Coaching is a reflection of who I am—deeply curious, passionate about helping people, and personally invested in health and well-being. Through my education and personal experiences, I’ve learned that how we live directly influences our health, happiness, and longevity. The power of small, daily habit changes is immense—and achievable. My passion is helping people discover this empowering truth. My expertise lies in blending my strong science background—Ph.D. in Neuroscience, Master of Arts in Psychology, and certifications in Coaching and Integrative Health Coaching—to guide clients toward highly impactful, sustainable health transformations. Changing long-standing behaviors can feel overwhelming, often leaving people stuck. Through an evidence-based approach, I help rewire habits using neuroscience-backed strategies, making behavior change feel not only possible but rewarding. Grounded in positive psychology, my coaching process is designed to be highly doable and personally fulfilling, helping clients create lasting, meaningful improvements in their health. And the best part? They feel the difference. My Journey My career path has been anything but conventional. While at McGill University, I fell in love with neuropsychology—how the brain shapes behavior. I earned my B.Sc. in Neuropsychology and went on to conduct research at Mount Sinai Hospital and Baycrest Center for Geriatric Care in Toronto, diagnosing and studying neurodegenerative conditions like Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease. My fascination with the brain only deepened, leading me to pursue a Ph.D. in Behavioral Neuroscience at Boston University School of Medicine, where I explored the link between nutrition, neurochemistry, memory, and attention. But my curiosity didn’t stop there. I wanted to understand the bigger picture—how our choices, relationships, and life experiences shape both psychological and neurological wellness. This led me to earn a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology, working with couples, new parents, and women navigating life transitions. Yet, I often felt that traditional therapy wasn’t always aligned with the fast pace of modern life. Then, something personal changed everything. I developed digestive issues, and after seeing multiple specialists, I was told, "It’s just aging." That answer didn’t sit right with me. A friend recommended an Integrative Health doctor, and the experience was transformative. Advanced testing revealed key deficiencies that traditional screenings had missed. With just a few lifestyle adjustments and supplements, my digestion improved, and I felt a decade younger. That’s when it clicked—how we live truly matters. I wanted to be part of a healthcare approach that empowers people to take control of their well-being. Through Integrative Health Coaching, I found a method that merges my expertise in neuroscience and psychology to create rapid, high-impact changes in people’s lives. Today, I help busy individuals master stress management, hormonal balance, food cravings, and overall health—so they can feel and function at their best.

I coach people who FEEL LIFE HAS BECOME FLAT OR MUNDANE. My work focuses on clarifying what you want now, developing the mindset to achieve it, and building the habits to sustain it. Through this process, you will rediscover your core values and how to move forward with intention, purpose, confidence, and joy.

My approach is guided by the EIGHT DIMENSIONS OF WELLNESS —emotional, intellectual, physical, social, spiritual, environmental, occupational, and financial. Each area influences the others, and sustainable change occurs when they're aligned..

For years, I searched for meaning and direction. Even with mind-body-spirit work, life felt flat—like I was going through the motions. Discovering the Eight Dimensions of Wellness—especially the often-overlooked occupational, social, and environmental areas of my life—helped me connect the dots. I began to understand how my thoughts, daily habits, and core values were misaligned, which was why I struggled to make lasting changes. I realized that mindset drives habits and that those habits ultimately shape long-term behavior.

Coaching based on this foundation of mindset and habits became my bridge between awareness and action, allowing me to live with intention, purpose, core values aligned with my values, and joy. I use the same framework to help others achieve their desired results because I strongly believe in it.

PERSONAL GROWTH REQUIRES ONGOING ATTENTION. My coaching helps you identify what’s keeping you stuck, clarify what matters most, and decide how to take consistent action toward a more fulfilling life.

I’ve spent years integrating holistic practices—mindful movement, self-care, reflection, and connection—into different seasons of my own journey. These practices have helped me stay grounded, focused, and resilient through change.

My approach blends mindset work, habit science, and the EIGHT DIMENSIONS OF WELLNESS to help you create a strong foundation for sustainable transformation—without perfectionism or burnout.

As your coach, I support you in bridging the gap between intention and action—turning insight into lasting results.
