My mission is to help athletes overcome self-doubt and perform with confidence and control under pressure. Through my experience as an NCAA fencing coach, I’ve seen that success isn’t just about skill, it’s about how you manage your mindset when it matters most. I help athletes close the gap between how they train and how they perform.

FAQs

Who is this coaching for?

Button

This is for athletes who train well but struggle to perform consistently in competition. If you deal with nerves, overthinking, or loss of confidence under pressure, this is exactly what we work on.

Do you offer a consultation before booking?

Button

Yes. I offer a free 15-minute consultation to understand your goals, challenges, and whether this is the right fit. This gives us a chance to connect before starting coaching.

What will we work on in sessions?

Button

We focus on mental preparation, managing nerves, building confidence, and staying focused during competition. This includes pre-bout routines, reset strategies, and tools to handle pressure throughout a long day of fencing.

How many sessions do I need?

Button

This depends on your goals, but many athletes start with a short series of sessions leading into a competition. We can also continue working together for longer-term development.

Do you work with beginners or only competitive athletes?

Button

I primarily work with competitive athletes, but the tools can be adapted for any level. The focus is always on improving performance under pressure.

What if I’ve never done mindset coaching before?

Button

That’s completely fine. Everything we do is practical and easy to apply, and we build it step by step based on your needs.

Is this only for fencing?

Button

While my background is in fencing, the mindset work applies to any sport and any high-pressure performance environment.

Do you offer sessions before major competitions?

Button

Yes. I offer short-term sessions focused on competition preparation, especially leading into events like Summer Nationals.

How is this different from regular coaching?

Button

Technical coaching focuses on skill. My coaching focuses on how you manage yourself under pressure so you can actually use those skills in competition.
