Health coaches are behavior change specialists who collaborate with clients to help build positive health habits. It is the coach's job to help evoke the inner health coach inside of the client. So what does that mean? Together, coaches work with clients to help them discover what their vision for wellness is and how it relates to their values and motivations for change. Health and wellness coaches assist the client with their "why".
Health coaching focuses on helping you set and achieve goals, build healthy habits, and make lifestyle changes. Therapy and counseling often addresses emotional or mental health issues. In a nutshell, therapy focuses on working through the past and health coaching focuses on the future. I am not a therapist, I can not diagnose or prescribe any medication
