Why coaching, and how does it differ from medical or mental health treatment?

Coaching isn’t a replacement for medical or mental health treatment, but it can complement it. Coaching helps to build foundational skills like emotional regulation and body awareness, and explore lifestyle rhythms and other foundational health tools such as restorative sleep, stress management, grounding, and finding your purpose. Change is hard! Coaching can provide education and support sustainable change, which helps to make you stronger at your foundation.

Does Mind-Body work mean symptoms are “all in my head”?

Not at all. Mind-body work doesn’t dismiss symptoms. Your symptoms are real. Your body’s systems are interconnected, and symptoms are often the body’s intelligent way of protecting you or signaling that something needs attention. Mind-body approaches explore how stress, emotions, and nervous system patterns may be contributing to your experience. Not causing it in a way that blames you, but in a way that gives you new tools to support whole-body health.

How does changing my life, and living in alignment with my values, influence my health?

When your daily choices, values, and actions align with who you truly are, it creates a sense of ease and safety in your body and mind. This alignment reduces stress, supports nervous system regulation, and strengthens emotional resilience.
