ArtistHealth coaching is a client-centered approach to empower client to develop and achieve self-determined goals. Coaching focuses on solutions rather than problems, on steps you can do here and now than analysis of the past.
Imagine you’re driving toward a place that’s new and unfamiliar. You’re in the driver’s seat, and I’m riding alongside you. I help you navigate, watch for road hazards, and gently guide you back if you take a wrong turn while also cheering you on during those long stretches when the scenery doesn’t seem to change. Behavior change is like a long road trip, and it’s often easier when you don’t have to travel alone.
I am trained in behavior modification theory and work with you to tap into your internal strengths and external resources. Together, we build practical self-management strategies that support sustainable, healthy lifestyle and behavior changes. I serve as an unbiased ally in your journey, focused on your best interests and providing accountability and support every step of the way.
Coaching is not a replacement for therapy or any other services provided by healthcare professionals. Instead, coaching complements the care you receive by helping you develop practical strategies to follow through on the decisions you and your healthcare team make. Many of us know what we should do, yet still find it hard to actually do it. This is where coaching comes in by bridging the gap between insight and action, and supporting you as you turn intention into lasting change.
With my background in pharmacy, I will bring to your attention if I see any holes or improvements to your treatment plan. However, the information shared is intended for educational and supportive purposes and is not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. For questions about your health, medical conditions, or treatment options, please consult with your physician. Any changes to your health care or treatment plan should be made in collaboration with your medical provider.
We’ll begin with a one-hour introductory session so I can truly get to know you and understand your goals. During this time, we’ll work together to explore your motivations, values, and strengths. We’ll also develop a clear vision of what you want to accomplish and create a personalized roadmap to help you get there. After this first session, we’ll schedule regular 30-minute check-ins to address any challenges that come up and keep you moving forward with confidence.
My packages are three-month programs because meaningful behavior change takes time, and this length allows for real, lasting results. After completing the initial program, continuing clients can book individual sessions based on the level of support they’d like moving forward. If a three-month program doesn’t feel right for you, I also offer a two-hour focused session where we’ll work together to create a clear, personalized roadmap for your goals so you can continue on your own with confidence.
I never want financial circumstances to be a barrier to improving your health. Sliding scale pricing based on income is available. Please reach out for more information.
