Smart, soulful overthinkers—including lawyers, leaders, creatives—work with me to clarify what they truly want and bring it into reality. My pledge to you: – I care too much to let you stay stuck. – I’ll name what you can’t yet see in yourself. – I’ll be kind, clear and focused – I’ll never ask you to trust me. I’ll prove that you can.

AttorneyMy approach is much more direct than most counselors, and even coaches. In my experience, a lot of peers offer passive support. They tend to focus on what’s wrong and to proceed slowly. That is just not me! I offer meaningful messages with plenty of attitude. Working with me is like visiting an old fashioned hardware stores stuffed to the rafters with way more tools you need. I steer you in the right direction, show you how to use them. You choose what works for you.
You get all three with me! I will: Therapist: Help you find out what might be holding you back from driving the car. Glance at your past to discover what kinds of experience you have had with automobiles. Coach: Sit next to you and encourage, endorse, acknowledge and support you until you feel comfortable enough to go it alone. Mentor: Suggest the best routes & strategies for where you want to take your amazing car and I'll leave you to it. We'll check in on your progress as needed.
That’s okay. You don’t need the exact right words to start. My job is to help you sort through the noise and name what’s actually going on, even when it feels tangled or hard to describe. I listen deeply, and can sometimes hear what you don’t say. We’ll start where you are. "I couldn’t put words to my issue, but she saw the real issue in minutes." Matt, Start-up Director
The best way to know is to spend time in conversation. My clients often say they felt a clear “yes” during our first call, simply because they felt understood without having to explain everything. You’ll know if it clicks for you. If we don’t click, we’ll make a plan for finding someone who does.
I totally get it. In a world lacking trust and certainty, it makes sense to think carefully about important choices. I will never ask you to trust me. I will simply prove that you can. I won’t give you generic steps or force you into a one-size-fits-all plan. We focus on the actions & ideas that actually land for you, using your natural strengths. My clients say the biggest difference they feel is being seen and guided, without the pressure to be someone they’re not.
I can provide receipts that are usually accepted for ‘out of network’ benefits, and EAP reimbursement. I never, participated in insurance panels, precisely because I do not want anyone deciding what is right for you, or asking me for information you do not want shared. "Thanks for adapting your receipt _again_. I swear, the insurance company changes their requirements every year!" Cameron, Non-profit manager
If you have been diagnosed with dissociative disorder, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, attachment disorder or borderline personality disorder. Please check with your local mental health association for referrals. If you are dealing with addiction, I will not see you while you are actively using. I’d be honored to supplement your 12-step, or other recovery program, once you have been clean at least 3 months before we start working together.
