FAQs

Do I have to buy a package, or can I just do one session at a time?

Button

You can do either one! The price per session will be the same either way, but if you get the package, you'll also receive metabolic blood testing, a Keto-Mojo or CGM, and a gratitude journal.

Are you a therapist, a coach, or a nutritionist?

Button

I'm all three. But where you live will determine whether or not I can be your therapist. I am licensed in Utah and Idaho. If you are not in these states, I'll be your coach/nutritionist and we won't be able to process trauma.

Do you recommend using wearables or other measuring devices?

Button

Yes! While I believe that we have the innate ability to sense when something is wrong or right, I also enjoy seeing the data that comes from wearing health trackers, continuous glucose monitors, and finger-prick ketone/glucose meters. But I also don't recommend obsessing over it as it can become an unhealthy addiction. Use these technologies as a mindful frame of reference rather than a matter of perfection. See my package to get a device for free!

What's your nutritional philosophy?

Button

While many nutritionists/coaches will continue to push the low-fat, low-calorie ideal, I believe this to be unhealthy. I operate from an ancestral perspective, recognizing that real, whole food, properly prepared, is the optimal solution to improve overall health. I closely follow the Weston A. Price Foundation, Benjamin Bikman, and other advocates of low-carb, whole-food eating. I recommend finding the highest quality (cleanest, most nutrient-dense) food possible.

Is it possible to do this as a vegetarian or vegan?

Button

Yes, although it is harder to do. Plant foods are harder to digest, but also don't provide complete protein sources or (often) enough fat. So you'll have to be very careful with choosing the right foods and preparing them properly to get the right nutrients.
