CB Health and Wellness Coaching Process and Session Descriptions The general coaching process begins with a very important foundational session (described below), followed by on-going coaching sessions structured to meet client needs. First Foundational Session (75-90 minutes) The first coaching session creates an important foundation for coaching and includes a detailed review of a pre-session health and well-being assessment, clarification of health and wellness priorities, and the creation of a vision statement that reflects the ultimate outcome you aim to achieve through coaching. Next, you will receive support in the development of a plan to attain your vision, with long and short term behavioral goals, including first steps to get started right away. This session can be broken down into two meetings, at your convenience, for the same price. On-going Coaching Sessions During these (usually weekly or bi-weekly) sessions, we will review the progress you have made with your goals and explore and resolve your most pressing issues, taking a deep dive into any topic that is important to you at that particular time. Careful consideration to detail will be given when setting new weekly goals (action steps), with frequent check-ins to be sure that your goals are connecting to your vision. We will celebrate “wins” and address any potential barriers to set you up for both short and long term success. First Foundational Session (75-90 minutes) *Please note: First foundational session is mandatory, with on-going coaching session length and frequency determined by each client. **While on-going coaching sessions can certainly be done productively in 30 minutes, they must be very efficient. Ideally, 45-60 minute sessions work best for goal setting and review, allowing ample time for clients to be heard without feeling rushed.
