FAQs

What's coaching?

Button

Coaching applies the science of behavior change through a supportive relationship that helps you meet your goals. We ask what you’re looking to change and use evidence-based practices to support you making that change, sustainably, from a place of your strengths and values.

How is coaching different from therapy?

Button

Coaching focuses on the present and future, helping you set and achieve your goals. Coaches can work in collaboration with therapists and other clinicians, and can discuss certain, limited emotional and mental experiences and needs with clients as they relate to vision, purpose, and goal setting. Therapists generally work with clients with diagnosable mental health conditions to explore and heal deep-rooted emotional traumas, dysfunctional mental patterns, and manage mental health conditions.

How long before I meet my health goals?

Button

This is dependent on the person. Research indicates that a commitment of three-months to the coaching process is often necessary to see change. The process might be shorter, or longer.
