What if your brilliance isn’t measured by systems—institutional, interpersonal, or internalized—but by your breath, your story, and your joy? I guide those navigating shifts in identity, roles, purpose, or belonging—especially when systems of success, survival, or oppression don't make space for all you carry. You don’t need to be certain. You don’t need to be ready. Whether you’re surviving, thriving, flourishing, or somewhere in between, You and your innate brilliance are welcome here.

FAQs

Can coaching help me even if I’ve never tried it before?

Button

Absolutely! Coaching is a supportive, client-led process that meets you exactly where you are. You don't need previous experience—just openness and curiosity. The Cleveland Clinic offers a helpful overview, including what coaches do, typical questions we might ask, and how coaching supports your motivation, clarity, and confidence. Learn more at https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/articles/health-coach-wellness-coach

Is this psychotherapy?

Button

No. Coaching is not psychotherapy or mental health treatment. It is future-focused, non-clinical, and client-led. We'll work together to clarify your goals and move at your pace. If therapy feels more supportive, I can help connect you to the right resources. Learn more about coaching at https://nbhwc.org/code-of-ethics/

Is coaching considered medical advice, treatment, therapy, or a prescription?

Button

No. Coaching does not diagnose, treat, or offer medical advice. Instead, we collaboratively identify your wellness goals, drawing from your strengths and insights to help you move forward. Learn more about coaching at https://nbhwc.org/code-of-ethics/

Is this trauma-informed?

Button

Yes. My training is rooted in evidence-based, human-centered care that centers equity, cultural humility, vitality, vulnerability, and shared humanity. My approach is trauma-informed—and shaped by both lived experience and professional practice. Your pace, voice, and safety are always honored.

Do you offer sliding scale or payment plans?

Button

Yes. Accessibility and equity are central to my coaching practice. I offer sliding-scale rates and payment plans based on individual financial circumstances to ensure coaching is available to those committed to their well-being. Please reach out directly, and together we can discuss the option that best supports your needs and situation.

What is Open Source Wellness (OSW) and the Community As Medicine (CAM) model?

Button

Open Source Wellness (OSW) is a nonprofit offering Community As Medicine®—an evidence-based, human-centered model grounded in four pillars: MOVE (physical activity), NOURISH (nutrition), CONNECT (social support), and BE (mindfulness). I am a certified health and wellness coach through OSW CAM's NBHWC-approved training, designed for those who want to “live their medicine and offer their gifts in the world.” I carry these values into every session. Learn more at opensourcewellness.org

What do National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching (NBHWC) and NBC-HWC mean?

Button

The NBHWC sets the gold standard for professional coaches. When someone becomes a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC), they’ve completed approved training, logged 50+ sessions, and passed a national exam with the NBME. I’m currently pursuing NBC-HWC certification (Spring 2026) through Open Source Wellness, an NBHWC-approved program. Learn more at nbhwc.org.

How is my personal and health information handled?

Button

As an Open Source Wellness certified wellness coach currently pursuing National Board of Health and Wellness Coaches certification, I strictly follow the NBHWC Code of Ethics and Scope of Practice. This means I handle your personal and health information with the utmost confidentiality and privacy, according to HIPAA regulations. Your information will be used only in permitted ways. ¿Puedo participar si prefiero hablar en español?

Button
