I see health and well-being as expansive and whole. It encompasses your physical, mental, and spiritual health. I work with people who are particularly interested in mastering the habits of their mind. Once we have a greater understanding of our mind and it's habits, we can better control our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors for a better life!
Therapy and Coaching are like siblings. We have similarities and we have differences as well. The differences include Therapy, is focused on unresolved emotional conflicts that impact your life, Often those things can stem from your past. In short, Therapy works on your past to present self. Coaching helps you take actionable steps from your present self to your future self. The is path is unique for everyone, so we use your values, strengths, and help you develop new tools for optimal growth.
Think of Well-being like a spectrum. On one end you have illness the other end you have wellness. Most healthcare is focused on the illness end of the continuum. Mental performance coaching is focused on the wellness end. It allows people with okay to good mental health to improve their mental habits for optimal functioning. This can result in being a better leader, performing at a higher level, having more focus and resilience, and achieving more.
We start with a free 30-minute connection call. We get to know each other, what are your goals, and see if we are a good fit. The initial session: We focus on creating a larger vision you want to achieve. We get clear on what that vision is and why it is important to you. Follow-up Sessions: In follow-up sessions, we break down your vision into manageable steps to help you build over time to achieve your vision.
