FAQs

What is health and wellness coaching?

Button

It's a collaborative, supportive partnership that empowers you to make meaningful, lasting lifestyle changes. They will focus on your values, strengths, and motivation. They will help you clarify what you really want for your health and life and help you set realistic goals and create action plans. They offer accountability and structure and help you move from where you are now to where you want to be.

What kinds of things can a coach help me with?

Button

Sleep, stress, resilience, physical activity, nutrition habits, work/life balance, energy and mood, time management, self-care and burnout prevention, life satisfaction and purpose.

What is NOT involved in coaching?

Button

Health and wellness coaching is not a replacement for medical or mental health care. A coach will not tell you what you should do. A coach will not make decisions for you. If issues arise beyond the coach's scope of practice, you will be encouraged to seek an appropriate licensed healthcare professional.

Why do sessions have zero fees right now?

Button

I am offering free sessions as I prepare for the board exam. Although most coaches begin charging as soon as they receive course credit, I chose to wait.
