FAQs

What is health coaching, and how is it different from nutrition counseling or personal training?

Button

Health coaching is a collaborative, supportive partnership. I help you build sustainable habits around movement, nutrition, and lifestyle—not prescribe meal plans or medical advice. The focus is on behavior change that fits your real life.

Who is your health coaching for?

Button

Health coaching is for anyone who wants to feel better but feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure where to start. It’s especially helpful if you’ve tried “all-or-nothing” approaches and want something realistic and supportive.

What can I expect in a coaching session?

Button

Sessions are conversation-based and client-led. We’ll talk through what’s working, what feels challenging, and where you’d like to go. Together, we’ll set small, achievable goals and adjust as you grow.

How long are sessions and how often do we meet?

Button

Sessions are 30 minutes. Most clients meet weekly or bi-weekly, depending on their goals and schedule.

Do you create meal plans or workout programs?

Button

I don’t provide rigid meal plans or one-size-fits-all workouts. Instead, I help you develop strategies and habits that feel realistic, flexible, and sustainable for your lifestyle.

Is health coaching right for me if I have health concerns or diagnoses?

Button

Health coaching can be a great complement to medical care, but it doesn’t replace it. If something is outside my scope, I’ll always encourage you to work with the appropriate healthcare professional.

How long does it take to see results?

Button

Everyone’s journey is different. Many clients notice small wins—like increased energy or clarity—within a few weeks. Long-term change comes from consistency, not quick fixes.

What if I’ve tried everything and nothing has worked?

Button

You’re not alone. Many clients come to coaching after feeling frustrated or burned out. Coaching helps slow things down, remove pressure, and focus on what’s actually doable for you.

Is this about weight loss?

Button

Weight can be part of the conversation if it’s important to you, but it’s not the sole focus. Coaching centers on overall well-being, strength, energy, and habits that support long-term health.

How do I get started?

Button

You can book a session directly through my scheduling page. If you’re unsure whether coaching is a good fit, you’re always welcome to reach out with questions.
