I’m a Colorado native, lifelong athlete, and passionate health coach who believes that healthy habits, confidence, and resilience start early.

I’m a Certified Pediatric Health Coach and have spent my 16-year career working with children and teens ages 6–18 through school-based resilience and wellness programs. I’m passionate about helping young people build the skills they need to feel confident, manage challenges, develop healthy habits, and thrive, both on and off the field.

I also specialize in sports performance, supporting young athletes in developing not only their physical skills, but also the mental side of performance. Confidence, focus, emotional control, goal-setting, and learning how to respond to setbacks are just as important as strength and skill.

Outside of coaching, I’m a wife and mom to a 9-year-old daughter, and our family is rarely sitting still! You’ll usually find us on a soccer field, hiking a Colorado trail, or snowboarding in the mountains. I also coach a competitive youth soccer team, which gives me the opportunity to combine my love of sports with my passion for helping kids grow into confident, resilient athletes.

Whether your child is looking to build healthier habits, develop confidence, navigate challenges, or reach their next level in sports, I’m passionate about meeting them where they are and helping them discover what they’re capable of.

Hi, I'm Michelle, and I know what it's like to look like you have it all together.

For most of my life, I was the person who got things done. ALL the things.

I loved my work. I was raising three children, building a career as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, and trying to keep all the pieces moving. From the outside, everything looked fine. Inside, it was a different story. My anxiety didn't slow me down. It pushed me harder. It looked like constant doing, high expectations, and believing that if I could just get through this week, finish one more project, or check one more thing off my list, life would finally feel easier.

It never did.

By my late 30s, I felt the effects everywhere. Tightness in my chest. Racing thoughts. Poor sleep. Muscle aches. Digestive issues. Fatigue. I had become more reactive with the people I loved most, and I knew something had to change. The Nurse in Me Wanted Answers.

As a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and Primary Care Mental Health Specialist, I have spent years helping children, adolescents, and families experiencing anxiety, emotional challenges, and behavioral concerns.

Those experiences gave me a unique perspective on the powerful connection between the mind and body. I saw every day how stress could affect sleep, mood, relationships, physical health, and the ability to cope with everyday life.

At the same time, I was searching for answers in my own life. I approached it the same way I approached my patients—with curiosity. I met with my primary care provider, my gynecologist, and a gastroenterologist. Medication helped, and I'm grateful for that. But I also knew there was more to the story.

As I began making changes in my own life, I started seeing my work through a different lens. When young patients came back for follow-up visits and weren't making the progress we had hoped for, many of the parents sitting beside them were struggling too. They were overwhelmed, anxious, exhausted, and carrying so much themselves.

As a pediatric provider, I couldn't treat the adult in the room, but I couldn't ignore what I was seeing. My personal experience and my years in practice have led me to the same conclusion: when a woman is supported, the effects often reach far beyond her own health.

Why I Chose Health Coaching

That experience changed the direction of my career.

I wanted more time to help women struggling with anxiety, as I had for so long. Time to educate. Time to understand patterns. Time to help women connect the dots between their nervous system, lifestyle, stress, and the way they feel every day.

Pursuing a new path and becoming a Certified Health & Wellness Coach allowed me to bring those pieces together.

Today, my work blends my background in nursing, mental health, and behavior change with a whole-person approach that gets to the root of anxiety and overwhelm.

We'll talk about nervous system regulation, sleep, nutrition, movement, stress physiology, mindfulness, and the daily habits that influence how you feel—not because there's one perfect solution, but because those pieces work together.

About Me

My path to health and wellness coaching is rooted in a lifelong passion for nourishing othersin mind, body, and spirit. As a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC), my approach goes beyond quick fixes or rigid rules. I believe that wellness can be sustainable, personal, and is best built through small, realistic lifestyle habit shifts.

My Story

Before stepping fully into health coaching, my career journey included years as an educator and a deep dive into the culinary world as a recipe developer and cookbook author. Spending years creating vibrant, nutrient-dense dishes taught me something fundamental: food is our first medicine, and cooking should feel like an act of self-care. Take care of yourself first to better take care of others, feel vibrant, and have more energy.

Today, I combine my background in education with functional nutrition and behavioral coaching. Whether I am partnering with clients in my private practice or working as a contractor health coach with health start-ups, my mission is to help people bridge the gap between knowing what to do and actually living and experiencing it in a way that feels natural and sustainable.

What Makes Me an Expert?

  • Board Certification: As an NBC-HWC, I am rigorously trained in evidence-based behavior change techniques, motivational interviewing, and habit formation.

  • Whole-Life Perspective: I look at the complete picture, incorporating nutrition, stress management, daily movement, and mindset, so you can create lasting, systemic change.

  • Empathetic Facilitator: Drawing on my background as an educator, I break down complex health concepts into clear, actionable steps tailored entirely to your unique lifestyle and goals.

I am here to meet you exactly where you are, celebrate your wins, and help you design a vibrant, healthy life that you genuinely look forward to living every day.

I am fortunate to have taught students from ages 5-18 for the past thirty-five years. I am endlessly fascinated with the ways young minds work and am always excited to find ways to impact their understanding of self and their place in community. I know how powerful it is to guide young people towards exercising self-autonomy over their choices and plan to continue working to develop this skill for others.
