For as long as I can remember, I have always been passionate about nutrition and exercise. In my early 20s, I moved to San Diego, and was a high school science teacher. I would sneak in nutrition lessons for my students whenever I could. When I was 26, while teaching in SD, I was diagnosed with Hashimotos, which is a Thyroid Autoimmune Disease. Since that diagnosis, I have been on my own health and wellness journey. Taking a deep dive with my own research and experimenting on myself, I have learned so much about what works and what doesn't work for me and my body.
In 2023, I retired from teaching and moved back to St. Louis to pursue health and wellness. I have been working part time at 20 Minutes to Fitness as a Personal Trainer while going to school for both health coaching and functional nutrition. I took and passed the National Board exam for health coaching in December and I am ready to begin my new adventure to help my clients feel their best and reach their full potential.
