This first session will be up to 90 minutes long. We will go over the coaching agreement, clarifying any questions that you may have. We will dive into your personal health and wellness history, so that we both have a clear understanding of where you are coming from and what has led you to this point. And we will begin exploring your ultimate health and wellness vision, so that we both attain a clear understanding of where you wish to go. You will most likely leave this session with a cognitive action plan, which will offer clarity and direction for our next visit.
These sessions will make up the bulk of the program and will be 45 minutes in length. We will meet once a week, until which time you decide that bi-weekly is sufficient. In these sessions, we will discuss your progress/obstacles/insights since our last visit. We will then re-focus or pivot if necessary and proceed with strategizing your action steps for the following week. These sessions will leave you feeling motivated, intentional and empowered. Each follow-up session gets you one step closer to your ultimate vision!
At the end of the program, we will have a 45 minute final session. Here we will celebrate your successes, review your insights/growth, discuss all options to help you sustain your progress, address potential obstacles and tap into the support options available to you to ensure your continued success.

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about who I am and why I am drawn to support people with their Health & Wellness goals, especially those with Chronic Illness, Autoimmune Disorders and newly diagnosed Type 1 Diabetics.
Like so many, my life's calling is born of my own experiences.
Being a bit of an over-achiever, I have managed to collect 6 Autoimmune Disorders (Hashimoto's, Celiac Disease, Interstitial Cystitis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lupus & Sjogren's). Using the methods, knowledge and training that I offer with this practice, I have calmed all 6 autoimmune disorders to the point that I am no longer under a Rheumatologist's care for any of them. I am healthy, active and able to quite literally climb my own mountains. I share this not to discourage the use of Rheumatologists, but rather to illustrate that taking control of your own wellbeing can lead you to a vitality that you wouldn't think possible. While Autoimmune Disorders are chronic conditions and a permanent part of your story, that does not mean that they need to prevent you from reaching your highest potential and aspirations.
In addition to my own Autoimmune Disorders, my daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 Juvenile Diabetes at age 7. This was a very hard diagnosis to accept and an even harder learning curve to figure out. How do we go about life differently so as to keep my little girl not just alive, but thriving? I had the Endocrinologist and his nurses to teach me about insulin and a dietician to teach me about counting carbohydrates. But, I had no one to help me navigate the changes that this diagnosis creates in our every day life. Everything changed with that Type 1 diagnosis. And not just for our immediate family, but for everyone that was in my daughters life...the school, her friends, her grandparents, the neighbors. Everything we did, we now had to do differently.
It is with my deepest and sincerest compassion that I am dedicating the remainder of my working years to supporting those who struggle with Chronic Health Conditions, Autoimmune Disorders & the children and families of newly diagnosed Type 1 Diabetics. My wish is to provide them with support and guidance as they navigate these turbulent waters, as well as to help instill a sense of empowerment and self-efficacy in them during a period that can leave one feeling like you are standing on shaky ground. There is no reason that a person dealing with an Autoimmune Disorder, Chronic Illness and/or a Type 1 Diabetic cannot live a full, beautiful life and I am humbled to walk alongside my clients as they forge their way down this new path.
Everything happens for a reason and I am certain that I was led down the path of self healing so that I can help shine the light of hope and health for others in need.
I firmly believe that we all have the innate ability to be in control of our own wellbeing. I aim to empower each client, helping them to discover how they can take control of their own health and wellness. It is ultimately my goal to see you less :).
I am honored to be able to pay forward this incredible gift of vitality and humbled by those that invite me along on their own healing journeys.
"Still need more clarity? Here are answers to some commonly asked questions.
Nope. I am not a dietician. I will, however, work with you to discover new ways of eating/cooking/shopping/etc that will fit seamlessly into your life. While I do have knowledge about healthier ways to eat and cook, I will only share it with you if requested and as a suggestion/form of guidance. At the end of the day, you know your body and life best and will be the expert on what will and won't work for you.
Nope. I am not a personal trainer. I will, however, work with you to identify forms of physical activity that will be in your best interest, help you reach your vision and that are enjoyable enough for you that they become a sustainable habit.
Nope. I am not a physician. What I can do is help you understand your doctor's orders, medications and lab results. I can help you be more prepared for your next visit to the doctor's office, so that you are able to gain all of the information that you need. I can help ensure that you get full clarity on your current health condition and will always follow any recommendations made by your primary physicians. I am not here to replace them, I am here to help you integrate and work with the information that they give you. That being said, you may find that you need fewer office visits/meds once you have gotten on top of the controllable factors that exacerbate Autoimmune Disorder Symptoms.
