As a graduate of the NBHWC health coach training program at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), my coaching focus is on longevity. As we age, our bodies don't respond as they did in younger years, but that doesn't mean the body is not able with the proper lifestyle support. With a 30+ year background in cell biology, my career has focused on understanding health and physiology at the cellular level, and now my interest is in translating that knowledge into practical, everyday life. This is what ultimately led me to pursue training as a health and wellness coach.

I am particularly interested in two areas: women’s health in later life—especially pre- and post-menopause—and cognitive health in the aging brain. My focus on women’s health is rooted in my own experience navigating hormonal imbalances, while my interest in neurodegeneration stems from both my professional background and the personal experience of witnessing cognitive decline in friends and neighbors. These experiences have also shown me that, with the right support and interventions, it is possible to slow—and in some cases improve—this process.

I first began this journey 13 years ago through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, knowing deep down that this was the work I was meant to do. Now, in this new chapter of retirement, I am excited to fully step into this role—supporting others in living vibrant, healthy lives and sustaining that vitality as they age.
