Program structure

1. Session One and Two

Button

Lay the groundwork, manage expectations, and help the coach understand your goals. Discuss the causes of an unhealthy gut, and eliminate or reduce processed foods. Introduce the gut microbiome. Create goals.

2. Session Three

Button

Review progress since the previous week's session. Answer any remaining questions. Introduction of the microbiota accessible carbohydrates (MACs), fiber, and prebiotics. Create goals.

3. Session Four

Button

Introduction of the concept of Leaky Gut Syndrome, symptoms, and causes. Identifying (and modifying) the causes of stress, toxins, and food selection.

4. Session Five

Food sensitivities vs. food allergies Elimination diet (two phases) *Elimination phase *Reintroduction phase

Introduction of the gut-brain axis, the gut & serotonin, how the microbiome may influence our behavior, Short Chain Fatty Acids, and probiotics.

The impact of cleaning products on the gut microbiome, the effect of overcleaning, and pet ownership.

Learn about the impact of sleep on gut health, and sleep & health in general. Take a sleep quality assessment. Learn how to improve sleep.

9. Session Ten and Eleven

The effects of stress on the gut and the role of stress hormones. Take a stress assessment. Coping strategies for dealing with stress. The gut health benefits of exercise. How to be active without "exercising".

10. Session Twelve
