Hi, it's nice to meet you! I'm Daijah. I can support you in your journey so that your life can align with how you envision it. My professional coaching and guidance provides focused planning, goal achievement on a manageable timeline, accountability, perspective shifting, and behavioral adjustments.
My academic history was focused in psychology and human services. My professional experience has been vast with positions in the mental health field, governmental housing programs, social services, and most recently within behavioral health services. I am appreciative to have worked with many individuals and families from diverse and often stigmatized populations.
While employed as a Mental Health Technician (MHT) in an inpatient psychiatric hospital for children, I gained hands-on experience supporting youth in acute mental health settings. I transitioned into the behavioral health field because of my specific interest in supporting children, adolescents, and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other co-occurring diagnoses. My position as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) gave me experience providing services in several new environments such as in home, at school, within a clinic, or out in the community.
I now have a unique perspective and helpful knowledge to share for those that want to enhance (or even slightly adjust) their life. I have combined my clinical background with a holistic approach to wellness that can help individuals reclaim control over their lives. I'm excited to be your new Certified Health and Wellness Coach!
