"Bridging the Gap Between Clinical Care and Sustainable Wellness
With over 16 years of experience as a Clinical Pharmacist, I have spent my career understanding the complex science of health. However, I’ve learned that while medicine is a vital tool, the most profound transformations happen through the choices we make every day.
As a Nationally Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC), I founded PNW Wellness LLC to bridge the gap between clinical recommendations and real-life implementation. I don't just look at a diagnosis; I look at the person behind it.
My approach is rooted in Motivational Interviewing and evidence-based lifestyle modifications. Whether you are navigating a new diagnosis of pre-diabetes, managing long-term health goals, or simply looking to reclaim your vitality, I provide the personalized partnership you need to create lasting change.
Why Work With Me?
- Clinical Expertise: A deep understanding of the physiological side of health and medication management.
- Coaching Excellence: Professional, board-certified guidance focused on your values and strengths.
- Personalized Partnership: A move away from "one-size-fits-all" advice toward a plan that actually fits your life in the Pacific Northwest.
In addition to my private practice, I am proud to serve as a facilitator for community-based health programs throughout Oregon.
*While I bring my clinical background to our sessions, coaching at PNW Wellness LLC is focused on lifestyle and wellness and does not replace the advice of your primary care provider or prescribing physician.*
Still need more clarity? Here are answers to some commonly asked questions.
Unfortunately no, insurance does not pay for health and wellness coaching. However most Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) provide the opportunity for you to pay for qualified medical expenses that insurance may not cover such as coaching for certain medical conditions such as diabetes. You may need a letter of medical necessity from your provider to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
