My journey into wellness began in 2009 with a single Zumba class. I fell in love with movement as a celebration, leading me to run my first half-marathon in early 2011 and transition into teaching that same year. By 2012, I was operating my own fitness studio, and by 2014, I was fully immersed in the industry, simultaneously teaching and coaching at 24 Hour Fitness, LA Fitness, Mountainside Fitness, and the YMCA.

Navigating those diverse environments gave me a front-row seat to the gaps in traditional fitness. While I loved the energy, I saw a need for a more inclusive, sustainable approach to health. In 2016, a major Achilles tendon surgery sidelined me for ten months, a pivotal period that shifted my focus from high-impact performance to long-term resilience and community health. I transitioned into leadership at the YMCA, helping build large-scale initiatives to support healthy living for all.

Today, I’ve traded the "no pain, no gain" mentality for a clinical, weight-neutral (HAES) approach. As an NBC-HWC, I combine my fifteen years of "in the trenches" fitness experience with evidence-based coaching to create a truly inclusive space, where health is defined by how you feel, not a number on a scale.

FAQs

Still need more clarity? Here are answers to some commonly asked questions.

How much space do I really need for a session?

Button

As long as we have enough room for you to lie down and extend your arms without hitting furniture, we can have a great session! Most living rooms or spare bedrooms work perfectly.

Do I need to buy weights before you come?

Button

Not at all. I am an expert at using body weight and common household items to build strength. If you decide you want to invest in equipment later, I can provide recommendations.

Can I work with you if I have a weight goal?

Button

Yes. While I operate from a weight-neutral perspective—meaning I don't use weight as a measure of success—this is an inclusive space. I focus on helping you feel stronger and more capable, regardless of your personal goals.

Is there a travel fee?

Button

My base rate includes travel within a 10-mile radius of Cave Creek (85331). For locations outside of this area, a small travel surcharge may apply.

Is this training faith-based?

Button

No. My training sessions are secular and focused on physical mechanics, functional movement, and evidence-based wellness practices.
