15 years experience
My journey into wellness began in 2009 with a single Zumba class. I fell in love with movement as a celebration, leading me to run my first half-marathon in early 2011 and transition into teaching that same year. By 2012, I was operating my own fitness studio, and by 2014, I was fully immersed in the industry, simultaneously teaching and coaching at 24 Hour Fitness, LA Fitness, Mountainside Fitness, and the YMCA.
Navigating those diverse environments gave me a front-row seat to the gaps in traditional fitness. While I loved the energy, I saw a need for a more inclusive, sustainable approach to health. In 2016, a major Achilles tendon surgery sidelined me for ten months, a pivotal period that shifted my focus from high-impact performance to long-term resilience and community health. I transitioned into leadership at the YMCA, helping build large-scale initiatives to support healthy living for all.
Today, I’ve traded the "no pain, no gain" mentality for a clinical, weight-neutral (HAES) approach. As an NBC-HWC, I combine my fifteen years of "in the trenches" fitness experience with evidence-based coaching to create a truly inclusive space, where health is defined by how you feel, not a number on a scale.

Not at all! One of the benefits of a longer session is that we can take our time. We spend more time on the warm-up and education, ensuring you feel successful and supported rather than overwhelmed.
Definitely not. I specialize in using what you already have. Whether that’s a pair of dumbbells, a sturdy chair, or just a cleared spot on the carpet, we can create a highly effective workout.

Yes. While I coach from a weight-neutral perspective—meaning we focus on strength, stamina, and consistency rather than the scale—this is an inclusive space. I am here to help you move safely and build a healthy, respectful relationship with your body.
No. My training sessions are secular and focused on physical mechanics, functional movement, and evidence-based wellness practices. While I respect your personal beliefs, they are not a part of the professional instruction.
