1. Phase 1: Explore the enduring sources of meaning in life.

I've worked as a program design consultant for private wellness companies and federal agencies, and have coached for over 12 years. Witnessing thousands of clients achieving their physical and mental health goals helped me realize that many still felt unfulfilled, like a void existed that their health achievements alone couldn't satisfy. Facing lifelong mental health challenges myself, I noticed the same pattern in my own life. 

Struggling with my own mental health challenges motivated me to pursue the study of psychology, yet the more I learned, a deepened sense of what was wrong with me and those around me grew. I discovered the world of positive psychology, achieved a Master's of Science in the study of human thriving, and fell in love with the often neglected other half of the story. Things go wrong, and though discrediting that truth is short sighted, there's a richness to life that can move us beyond what we think is possible to a life of meaning and purpose.
