Experience

1 years experience

"I just have a love and a passion for helping people. I have seen and experienced over the years how easily people can get stuck or off track a little and just need a little help and support to get unstuck and back on track. I am amazed at how many times, I would cross paths with a person that just needed someone to listen and have compassion, even if only for a few minutes. I can look back now to see how this was driving and developing my path today. I have completed the course work for a Masters in Mental Health Therapy and worked for 8 years in a large locked psychiatric unit that also helped drive my desire to help people. I have seen how people can live through similar events but have totally different outcomes. This experience helped solidify for me, the importance of looking at people as a whole, unique person, requiring a different degree and direction of support."
