My journey into wellness began in 2009 with a single Zumba class. I fell in love with movement as a celebration, leading me to run my first half-marathon in early 2011 and transition into teaching that same year. By 2012, I was operating my own fitness studio, and by 2014, I was fully immersed in the industry, simultaneously teaching and coaching at 24 Hour Fitness, LA Fitness, Mountainside Fitness, and the YMCA.

Navigating those diverse environments gave me a front-row seat to the gaps in traditional fitness. While I loved the energy, I saw a need for a more inclusive, sustainable approach to health. In 2016, a major Achilles tendon surgery sidelined me for ten months, a pivotal period that shifted my focus from high-impact performance to long-term resilience and community health. I transitioned into leadership at the YMCA, helping build large-scale initiatives to support healthy living for all.

Today, I’ve traded the "no pain, no gain" mentality for a clinical, weight-neutral (HAES) approach. As an NBC-HWC, I combine my fifteen years of "in the trenches" fitness experience with evidence-based coaching to create a truly inclusive space, where health is defined by how you feel, not a number on a scale.

FAQs

Still need more clarity? Here are answers to some commonly asked questions.

Is 30 minutes enough time?

Button

For a specific check-in or a "reset," absolutely. We dive straight into the heart of the matter. If you find you have more you’d like to explore, we can always schedule a follow-up or transition into a 60-minute session.

Can we do a workout during this time?

Button

This session is focused on Health & Wellness Coaching (strategy, habit-building, and emotional support). If you are looking for exercise instruction, please book a Virtual Personal Training session.

What if I don't have a specific problem?

Button

That’s fine! Sometimes a check-in is just about maintenance—celebrating what's working and ensuring you feel supported as you continue your journey.

Is this coaching faith-based?

Button

No. My coaching practice is secular and focuses on evidence-based wellness dimensions, inclusive movement, and body-neutrality practices. While I respect your personal beliefs, they are not a part of the professional coaching curriculum.
