13 years experience
I’m a registered nurse with over 13 years of clinical experience. Over the past five years, I’ve shifted my career focus toward a root-cause approach to women’s metabolic, hormonal, gut, and detoxification support. Most recently, I became a health coach and launched my own practice—a career transition away from hospital nursing—to support women in creating lasting, sustainable change in their health and wellbeing.
I earned my BSN from Johns Hopkins University and a BA in Integrative Studies of Health & Healing from NYU’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study. My post-baccalaureate training includes a 16-month professional certification in Women’s Integrative and Functional Medicine with Dr. Aviva Romm, MD, immersive herbal medicine training with Wildroot Botanicals, a metabolic health coaching certification through Insulin IQ, as well as integrative health coaching training through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. I’m also certified as a Wilderness Medicine Instructor through Wilderness Medical Associates.
Raised aside a pond in the wooded hills of western Massachusetts, I developed a deep connection to nature that nurtured my lifelong interest in herbal medicine and integrative health. My own chronic illness and subsequent healing journey, combined with over a decade if clinical nursing in acute and critical care, as well as hospice and infusion nursing, highlighted the gaps in the conventional medicinal model—especially for women struggling with chronic inflammatory conditions, metabolic, gut, and hormonal imbalances.
Today, I help women uncover and address the root causes of imbalance through personalized support for metabolism, hormonal regulation, gut health, detoxification, nutrition, lifestyle, and nervous system regulation. My approach honors the interconnectedness of body, mind, and spirit, meeting each woman right where she is on her own bio-individual healing journey — empowering her to restore balance, resilience, and long-term wellness.
