Still need more clarity? Here are answers to some commonly asked questions.
No - I help clients to prepare for and integrate psychedelic-assisted therapy from a therapist or other qualified retreat center.
I do not make recommendations for specific providers. I will, however, help you to understand what to look for in finding a safe, reliable, and vetted source.
While no one can (or should) guarantee that you won't have a difficult experience, proper preparation and integration support from a qualified coach (along with proper set and setting) help to minimize the chance of a difficult experience. That said, sometimes the most difficult experiences in life offer the opportunity for extraordinary transformation. Challenging experiences with psychedelics are no different.
As a Certified Psychedelic Integration and Transformation coach from Being True To You, one of the oldest and most respected training programs of its kind, I am qualified to assist you in preparing for an integrating experiences with any kind of psychedelic. Examples include: psilocybin (magic mushrooms), ayahuasca, Bufo, MDMA, and others.
Absolutely not. In fact, many people seek integration support after a ceremony because they didn't know that this kind of preparation support even existed. Whether your journey was three days, three weeks, or three years ago, I can help you to unpack the experience and integrate the lessons learned into your daily life for long-term, lasting change.
Like the answers to many questions, it depends. Ketamine-assisted therapy is legal under proper supervision in many states. Other psychedelics are becoming decriminalized or legalized in states like Colorado and Oregon. Other countries outside of the US offer legal pathways for psychedelic-assisted therapy. You should be expertly aware of the legality of these powerful medicines in your respective area. I do not recommend or condone illegal and/or potentially harmful practices.
Absolutely not. My job is to help people grow and transition from one phase of life to the next. That could mean transition in career, relationships, substance use/abuse, and other areas of life that could benefit from a supportive accountability partner. If you're looking for long-term coaching not related to psychedelics, please see my other service offerings. https://vibly.io/experts/kris-russell/
