"My name is Kris Russell, founder of the Full Heart Project. I’m a professional coach, mentor, and fellow seeker, helping men on their journey back to wholeness. I help men to rediscover purpose and passion in their lives, and to redefine themselves outside of their careers. I work with men who are tired of the status quo. Men who’ve come to realize that no amount of professional “success” can quench their thirst for purpose. Men who long for community, connection, and brotherhood. Men who are courageous in search of their higher Self. Men who are committed and ready to invest in their own healing, so they can help to heal their families, their communities, and the world around them. I lived a very different life just a few short years ago. As an executive, I’d achieved career and material success. But on the inside I was angry, scared, and felt completely alone. The corporate grind left me burned out and in a never-ending search for external validation. Little did I know I was building my own personal prison, brick by brick. Then, in 2018 I suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) which turned my life upside down; at one point I thought I might even take my own life. But life’s biggest hurdles can also be its most transformative gifts…IF...we’re willing to surrender our ego and open ourselves to change. While devastating at the time, the TBI forced me to question everything I thought I knew about my life’s purpose. Plant medicine blew my heart open, paving the way for a deep exploration of spirituality that’s become the cornerstone of my life. I hired a coach, who helped me to feel seen and supported, and held me accountable for change. Healing began to come in my marriage. I left behind an abusive relationship with alcohol. New possibilities began to emerge…new priorities and new paths forward I’d never even considered. I realized my calling to become a coach and help other men on their journey of self-discovery."

FAQs

Still need more clarity? Here are answers to some commonly asked questions.

Do you serve psychedelics?

Button

No - I help clients to prepare for and integrate psychedelic-assisted therapy from a therapist or other qualified retreat center.

Can you help me find psychedelic-assisted therapy?

Button

I do not make recommendations for specific providers. I will, however, help you to understand what to look for in finding a safe, reliable, and vetted source.

Can you guarantee that I won't have a "bad trip?"

Button

While no one can (or should) guarantee that you won't have a difficult experience, proper preparation and integration support from a qualified coach (along with proper set and setting) help to minimize the chance of a difficult experience. That said, sometimes the most difficult experiences in life offer the opportunity for extraordinary transformation. Challenging experiences with psychedelics are no different.

What types of psychedelic/plant medicine do you support people in?

Button

As a Certified Psychedelic Integration and Transformation coach from Being True To You, one of the oldest and most respected training programs of its kind, I am qualified to assist you in preparing for an integrating experiences with any kind of psychedelic. Examples include: psilocybin (magic mushrooms), ayahuasca, Bufo, MDMA, and others.

I already had the psychedelic journey, but I want integration support. Is it too late to hire you?

Button

Absolutely not. In fact, many people seek integration support after a ceremony because they didn't know that this kind of preparation support even existed. Whether your journey was three days, three weeks, or three years ago, I can help you to unpack the experience and integrate the lessons learned into your daily life for long-term, lasting change.

Is psychedelic-assisted therapy legal?

Button

Like the answers to many questions, it depends. Ketamine-assisted therapy is legal under proper supervision in many states. Other psychedelics are becoming decriminalized or legalized in states like Colorado and Oregon. Other countries outside of the US offer legal pathways for psychedelic-assisted therapy. You should be expertly aware of the legality of these powerful medicines in your respective area. I do not recommend or condone illegal and/or potentially harmful practices.

Do you only work with people who are using psychedelics?

Button

Absolutely not. My job is to help people grow and transition from one phase of life to the next. That could mean transition in career, relationships, substance use/abuse, and other areas of life that could benefit from a supportive accountability partner. If you're looking for long-term coaching not related to psychedelics, please see my other service offerings. https://vibly.io/experts/kris-russell/
