1. Month 1 Build the Foundations

"I've lived the struggle. From a chubby little girl to an almost 300-pound woman, I carried the weight—not just on my body, but in my heart. For years, I believed it was my fault. But I’ve come to understand: it’s not. There is a system designed to enslave us, one that hijacks our God-given neurochemistry and drives us to crave processed “foods” that damage our bodies and rob us of vitality. My journey toward healing began with honoring my father’s wisdom. Before he passed from complications of diabetes—a disease that runs deep in my family—he said something that stuck with me: “Cathy, always monitor your blood sugar.” I took that to heart. As I monitored my blood sugar and began making changes, I didn’t just lose 100 pounds—I gained clarity, strength, and freedom. I pursued truth, both spiritually and scientifically. I earned certifications as a Nutritional Advisor, Food Addiction Advocate, and Insulin IQ Coach—not just to help myself, but to help others walk this path of transformation. As an ordained Christian minister with experience in missions and pastoring both Deaf and hearing churches, I’ve learned the importance of caring for the whole person: Spirit, Soul (mind, will, and emotions), and Body. True healing happens when all three are addressed—grounded in God’s Word, supported by science, and walked out in real life. This is what I uniquely offer: A faith-rooted, compassionate, and evidence-informed approach to breaking food bondage, reclaiming health, and becoming who God created you to be—fully, freely, and joyfully."
