Every program starts with a long foundation session to start doing the groundwork for a successful coaching relationship. We'll go through any self-assessments you may have completed and get clear on your wellness vision, long-term goals, personal values and strengths. You'll start connecting the dots between motivation and goals, and we come away from this session with a planned focus for the next 3 months.
Your foundation session is followed up by 4 weekly sessions to give you the support you need as you start your journey.
In this phase, we meet regularly for higher accountability and a sense of true support and encouragement as you explore your health habits and start setting meaningful goals. We continue conversations about what motivates you and how your short-term goals connect to the big picture. By the end of this block of sessions, you'll be working on realistic action steps that move you closer to your long-term goal.
Once you're feeling more confident in your habits and starting to make steady progress, our next 4 coaching sessions are scheduled every 2 weeks to give you more time for implementation and experimentation. You'll explore your resources and self-accountability and find ways to set habits your way. Together we adjust where needed and regularly check in with big-picture progress.
Our last session (8th follow-up) is your time to reflect on learnings, progress and all the wins along the way!
If you're ready to spread your wings and continue working on your habits independently, we make a maintenance plan for your new habits: next steps, contingency plans, and the resources and support you'll need to make it stick. (And if you need coaching support beyond these three months, we'll make a new plan for that too - you'll never be left to figure this out on your own.)

I've worked in health, wellness and athletic performance for a long time. I ran my own clinical massage practice for 20 years, helping clients heal from sports injuries, get out of chronic pain, and establish good self-care habits. I have been a distance running coach since 2015, working with individual clients on a broad range of goals and coaching women's running groups. I gained my health coaching certification from the highly respected Functional Medicine Coaching Academy, and I'm National Board certified.
My experience has given me a deep appreciation for the connections within the human body and mind, and I have always been interested in the many facets of health. I'm a big believer in helping my clients discover the tools and skills they need to take control of their own well-being. I put my clients' wishes and goals at the heart of the relationship and work with you — gently guiding, rather than handing out cookie-cutter plans.
I’m a lifelong athlete — former basketball player, now a distance runner — as well as a parent and business owner. I’ve navigated IBS, SIBO, stress and burnout, and eating for sports performance and for gut health. As a woman in my 40s, the way our bodies continue to surprise us is a part of my everyday experience! The functional medicine approach has been a game changer in taking care of my own health, and I'm passionate about sharing it with my clients.
