Program structure

1. Wellness Assessments

Button

Review of health intake form. Will provide lifestyle assessments and scaling questions each visit to evaluate progress and discuss any barriers.

2. Food / Nutrition planning - We will include a nutrition update as part of each session

Overview of current diet, mindful eating, portion control, what to focus on, conquering cravings, menu planning for success. Topics covered may also include managing specific dietary concerns related to a medical condition per your physician orders.

3. Lifestyle Habits- Sleep / Nutrition questions

Button

Sleep status and sleep hygiene review if warranted. Provide resources for help with sleep concerns.

4. Lifestyle Habits - Exercise/ Movement

Button

Overview of physical activity with short and long term goal setting if movement is currently not part of lifestyle. Resources provided.

5. Stress Management - Tips and techniques to prevent and relieve stress

Button

Evaluation of stress and how it affects well-being for you. Will focus on cognitive behavioral coaching to help shift your mindset and reduce the stress response.

6. Self Care - Develop practices that are truly nourishing and transformative

Review what self care is, provide resources and share tools to create a self care plan that supports you. Will focus on self compassion skills, setting boundaries and moving past guilt.

"I am a wellness entrepreneur and National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC). In private practice I work primarily with women who are seeking support to manage various health concerns including pre-diabetes, insulin resistance, cardiovascular health, and pain conditions. As a health coach I facilitate and empower my clients to develop and achieve self-determined goals related to their health and wellness, consistent with treatment plans prescribed by their professional health care providers. My approach is personalized and holistic, which means I look at how all areas of life affect health as a whole including food choices, exercise, stress, sleep and the mind-body connection. Within this framework I assist clients to mobilize their internal strengths and external resources and to develop self-management strategies for making sustainable, healthy lifestyle behavior changes. For 13 years prior to certifying as a health and wellness coach I worked as a professional special event planner in the hospitality industry, managing teams in the production and execution of private events, galas, conferences and national programs. I continue to produce events with the additional qualification of Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach, designing and delivering lifestyle habit change and well-being workshops for private clients, non-profits, physician groups and corporations on a variety of topics.
