Experience

"I'm an internationally certified coach, a published author, and a university writing instructor. In addition, I have studied and practiced meditation for 30 years and have trained in other mind-body practices, such as breathwork, expressive writing, EFT, ADHD coaching, Acceptance and Commitment coaching, and non-violent communication. I can share research-backed holistic ways to help you get calmer, stay focused and find purpose and meaning in your life and work. For example, research shows that focused meditation and other techniques can increase your ability to concentrate, memorize, and study complex ideas. When our brain changes, we change. But we also need to work with the heart. When we do, this changes how we see the world and how the world sees and responds to us. I work with students and professionals who would like support with challenges such as: making transitions, choosing or changing a career or educational path, attaining emotional balance, maintaining focus, communicating effectively, pursuing a creative goal, and dealing with ADHD/executive functions issues. Exploring, creativity, and staying open to possibility are keys to living a fulfilling and meaningful life. We are all moving through successive changes, and I want to support you in making these changes positive."
