FAQs

Still need more clarity? Here are answers to some commonly asked questions.

Do I need to be NBHWC certified to participate?

Button

No. This space welcomes coaches in training or professionals seeking to deepen their practice.

Can sessions be conducted in Spanish?

Button

Yes! Sessions can be held entirely in Spanish, English, or a mix of both. I’m also practicing my professional Spanish — thank you for your patience as we learn and grow together.

How are practice hours recorded?

Button

In the 30-minute session, my coaching time counts toward certification. In the 60-minute session, both participants can record their own coaching time.

Do sessions have to be recorded?

Button

Only with mutual consent. Recordings are used solely for NBHWC verification and remain confidential.

Can I book multiple sessions?

Button

Yes. Ongoing practice encourages confidence, fluency, and sustained growth — depending on our mutual availability.

What is the Mindful Feedback Model?

Button

Inspired by the Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program (MMTCP), this model invites reflection without judgment and supports mutual learning and growth: 1. From me to myself (positive) What did I do well, and why did it matter? 2. From my partner to me (positive) What did you notice that I did well, and how did it make a difference? 3. From me to myself (for growth) What would I do differently next time, and why? 4. From my partner to me (for growth) What could I adjust or strengthen, and how might that be supportive? A simple, mindful structure for giving and receiving feedback with presence, kindness, and curiosity.
