2 years experience
Hi! I am Salena Clay, founder of Salyana Essentials LLC and Health & Wellness Coach (NBHWC Candidate) who believes wellness does not have to be heavy or serious.
For over two decades, I thrived in Fortune 500 corporate America—until I did not. Like so many high-achievers, I believed exhaustion was just part of success. I ignored the whispers: the chronic stress, the depleted energy, the erosion of boundaries. Until my body forced me to listen.
That breaking point led to six months of intentional rest and rebuilding. It completely changed my understanding of what sustainable wellness actually means. It is about understanding what your body needs and building practices that honor your real capacity.
That transformation sparked my journey into wellness. First, through founding Salyana Essentials 5 years ago, then dedicating the past 2 years to becoming a Health & Wellness Coach (NBHWC training through the Institute of Holistic Integrative Studies). Now, I help students, employees, and professionals, aged 11-30 create that shift without waiting for a crisis to force it.
How I Work
I bring light humor, natural optimism, and genuine belief in your capacity to create change. When you need encouragement, I am all in, celebrating every win and reminding you how far you have come. I am here to ask questions and help you discover what works for YOUR life. You are in the driver's seat. I am your supportive navigator.
I have been where you are. I understand the culture that demands you "push harder" and "rest later." I know what it is like to feel trapped between self-care and expectations. I also know that generic wellness advice does not work for people living real lives. My approach is grounded in that real experience, evidence-based practices, and deep compassion for how hard it is to build wellness in demanding environments.
Most people wait for their body to shout. I help you learn to hear the whispers.
"Still need more clarity? Here are answers to some commonly asked questions.
We strongly encourage attending all 5 days as each builds on the previous. If your child must miss one day due to illness or emergency, they can still participate in remaining days. Session recordings are NOT provided to protect student privacy.
Yes! Each child must be registered separately and within the age range (11-14). Siblings will receive separate supply boxes.
This cohort runs April 6-10, 2026, only. Future cohorts may be offered during other breaks. Please join the waitlist to be notified!
No homework! All activities happen during the 2-hour sessions. Students are welcome to continue working on projects on their own time if they wish.
We use breakout rooms with just 2-3 students for more intimate sharing. No one is forced to share with the full group. We create a judgment-free, supportive environment.
We offer a full refund if you cancel before March 25, 2026. After that date, no refunds (we've already shipped supplies). If program is cancelled due to low enrollment, full refund issued.
Not for this first cohort. Full payment required at registration.
This program is designed specifically for ages 11-14 (middle school). We may offer programs for other age groups in the future!
