Hey there! I’m Salena Clay, founder of Salyana Essentials LLC and a Health & Wellness Coach who believes that wellness doesn’t have to feel heavy, overwhelming, or all-consuming.
For over two decades, I built a successful career in Fortune 500 corporate environments, until I reached a point many high achievers know too well. I believed exhaustion was simply the cost of success. I ignored the early signals: chronic stress, depleted energy, and blurred boundaries. Eventually, my body made the decision for me.
That moment led to six months of intentional rest and rebuilding. It reshaped my understanding of sustainable wellness. I learned that true well-being is about understanding your body’s needs and creating practices that respect your real capacity.
That experience sparked my transition into wellness work. In 2020, I founded Salyana Essentials LLC. In 2025, I completed formal Health & Wellness Coach training through the Institute of Holistic Integrative Studies in preparation for NBHWC board certification. Today, I support students, professionals, and entrepreneurs in making meaningful changes before stress turns into burnout or crisis.
How I Work
My coaching style is supportive, collaborative, and grounded in real life. I bring light humor, natural optimism, and a genuine belief in your ability to create change. I meet you where you are, ask thoughtful questions, and help you uncover what works best for your life and schedule. You remain in the driver’s seat—I’m your steady, informed navigator.
I understand the pressure to “push through” and postpone rest. I also know that generic wellness advice rarely works in demanding environments. My approach blends lived experience, evidence-based coaching practices, and deep respect for the complexity of modern life.
Most people wait until their body starts shouting.
I help you learn to hear the whispers and respond with intention.

CREEATE Your Vibe runs April 6-10, 2026 (Monday-Friday during spring break). Choose between: Morning Cohort: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM EST Afternoon Cohort: 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM EST Both cohorts cover identical content. Select the time that works best for your family's schedule.
Each student receives a complete supply box shipped to your home containing: - 5 numbered mystery envelopes (one opened each day) - All materials for 5 hands-on projects - CREATE Your Vibe Bingo card - Surprise elements revealed throughout the week The box arrives approximately 1 week before the program starts. Important: Do not open the envelopes early—we open one together each day as part of the experience!
Your student will need: - Computer or tablet with camera and microphone - Reliable internet connection - Zoom app (free version works—download link provided after registration) - Music streaming platform (Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora, YouTube Music, or similar - free version works for Day 2 activity) - Quiet space to participate for 2 hours each day We'll send a tech check email before the program starts to ensure everything is working properly.
CREATE Your Vibe is wellness coaching, not therapy. Here's the difference: Wellness Coaching focuses on: - Building life skills and coping strategies - Goal setting and action planning - Developing healthy habits - Stress management techniques - Creative expression and self-awareness Therapy focuses on: - Diagnosing and treating mental health conditions - Processing trauma - Clinical intervention This program is perfect for supporting your student's social-emotional development alongside school and family support. If your child is currently in therapy, wellness coaching can be a great complement—just let us know so we can coordinate approaches.
Many middle schoolers feel nervous about new activities—this is completely normal! Here's how we support shy or anxious students: ✓ Small groups (max 10 students) feel less intimidating ✓ Breakout rooms allow smaller 2-3 person conversations ✓ Projects give hands-on focus (less pressure than pure talking) ✓ No forced sharing—students participate at their comfort level ✓ Cameras required but we create a judgment-free zone ✓ I have experience working with anxious students and creating safe spaces If you have concerns about your student's anxiety, schedule a discovery call so we can discuss specific accommodations and determine if this is the right fit.
Each cohort requires a minimum of 5 students to run. If minimum enrollment is not met by March 25, 2026: - You'll receive a full refund - You'll be notified immediately - You can choose to switch to the other cohort if it has met minimum enrollment - We'll offer priority registration for a future program date
Refund policy: ✓ Full refund if you cancel before March 25, 2026 ✓ 50% refund if you cancel March 26 - April 1, 2026 (after supply boxes have shipped) ✓ No refund for cancellations after April 1, 2026, or for missed sessions Exception: Full refund issued if minimum enrollment (5 students) is not met by March 25, 2026. If your student needs to withdraw due to illness or emergency after the program begins, no refund is available.
Because this is a 5-day intensive program where each day builds on the previous one, attendance at all 5 sessions is strongly encouraged. If your student must miss a session due to illness or emergency: - You can still complete the project at home using supplies from that day's envelope - However, they'll miss the live group interaction and breakout room activities No refunds or makeups are available for missed sessions.
