"Cassi Fackrell – Your Medically Assisted Weight Loss Expert My journey with obesity has been lifelong. Growing up, I constantly battled weight issues, trying every diet and workout regimen imaginable. Despite my best efforts, nothing seemed to lead to long-term success. In 2016, I made the difficult decision to undergo bariatric surgery, starting with a Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy (VSG). This surgery marked a new chapter in my weight loss journey, but it wasn’t the end of my struggles. In 2019, I underwent a revision to Roux-en-Y (RNY) gastric bypass, and over the course of eight years, I endured a total of 12 surgeries to address complications from the procedures, including medical readmissions and unforeseen health challenges. Through this journey, I realized that surgery alone wasn’t the ultimate solution to achieving lasting weight loss. It wasn’t the surgeries, the medications like Ozempic (GLP-1), or even the most structured diet plans that led to long-term success. I had to go deeper—I had to transform my mindset, regulate my emotions, and completely rebuild my relationship with food and my body. This turning point allowed me to step beyond the physical changes and focus on aligning my mind and behaviors with the healthier life I wanted. This personal transformation drives my passion to help others today. I’ve walked in the same shoes as many of my clients, which gives me a unique perspective to understand and guide them through the emotional, mental, and physical challenges of weight loss. Through this journey, I have learned firsthand that success isn’t just about the weight you lose—it’s about the life you gain. Professionally, I am an NBC-HWC Certified Health & Wellness Coach, trained to help clients make sustainable changes to their lives by integrating evidence-based behavior change techniques. My certifications also include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) training and coaching certifications from The Life Coach School. This professional background, combined with my personal journey, positions me to guide clients through both the medical and emotional complexities of weight loss.
