"Hi, I’m Dianna Abilmona. Like many of the people I work with, I know what it feels like to be stuck—burned out, unfulfilled, and disconnected from myself. After years in Human Resources, I realized my work no longer aligned with my values. The COVID-19 pandemic forced me to confront that burnout, and stepping away became a necessity. That break changed everything. I started prioritizing my well-being—moving my body, eating better, and simply allowing myself space to breathe. When I was laid off in 2022, instead of fear, I felt relief. It was the push I needed to finally ask: What do I truly want to do with my life? The answer led me to Georgetown University’s Health and Wellness Coaching program, where I found my purpose—helping others navigate the kind of transformation I experienced myself. Now, with over a decade of experience supporting people in both life and work, I bring empathy, humor, and accountability into every coaching relationship. My holistic approach—focusing on mind, body, and lifestyle—ensures real, lasting change. At 38, I faced my own turning point. I felt tired, weak, and disconnected, but through movement, nutrition, and mindset, I rebuilt my strength and energy. Now, at 42, I feel better than ever—proof that transformation is possible at any stage. That’s why I created Humans in Progress—because we’re all a work in progress. This isn’t about perfection; it’s about showing up for yourself, one step at a time. My journey led me here, and now I’m here to walk alongside you on yours. Let’s take that first step together. "
