Hello, I’m Kortney — a wife and mother from New Orleans, LA who loves cooking, outdoor scenery, and arts & crafts.

I am a board-certified and ITC certified health coach with 5 years’ experience. I’ve spent the majority of this time coaching clients who are at the age of 40 and up and struggled with making necessary changes to improve their health. I’m certified in lifestyle medicine and have expertise in healthy eating, weight management, hypertension, goal-setting and behavior change. I also have a background in psychology, chemistry, and biology. 


I have been passionate about health for as long as I could remember — reading nutrition facts,  and telling loved ones which foods to avoid eating. When I first entered the healthcare field, I worked as a pharmacy technician and started pharmacy school shortly after. Two years into pharmacy school, I realized that it wasn’t the field for me. As I learned more about treating illnesses with medication, I started to believe that (in many cases, but not all) prescriptions served as a bandaid for symptoms rather than treating the root cause of illnesses. My heart was not in it. After speaking with a few advisors and learning more about health fields which promote healthy lifestyle habits, I was introduced to the field of health and wellness coaching and never looked back. 

As a health coach, I am able to exercise my strengths of empathy, patience, problem solving, and being goal-oriented. I’ve coached over 150 clients, and have made positive impacts in many lives. I’d love to be your coach and help you become the best version of yourself!
