"Hi! I'm Melissa
I'm a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach, NBC-HWC, married over 13 years, and mom to two amazing kids ages 7 and 10. My health transformation began in my postpartum period after my oldest was born and has been a gradual progression towards sustainable health and healing. I left my teaching career and became more in tune with my passions, purpose and desires after becoming a mother. Motherhood can be transformative as we grow alongside our kids.
I've experienced anxiety, depression, loss, career shifts, relocation to a new state, and finding connection and community. My family has navigated anxiety, diabetes, Alzheimers, weight management, PCOS, and endometriosis. I've seen first-hand how lifestyle and nutritional changes support reversal and prevention of disease and am passionate about supporting clients to get to the root cause, create sustainable habits, and thrive!
While working with clients, I guide nutritional shifts, help clients manage stress, find joy, foster fulfilling relationships, increase movement, and more. In my customized approach, I works with clients one-on-one for six months at a time and in group coaching sessions once a year with a 30 Day Sugar Detox group. In the Sugar Detox, I directly support and educate on sustainable actions to balance blood sugars and create a healthy relationship with sweets long-term.
I have been a leader with doTERRA for ten years and work with clients to incorporates essential oils into daily routines for mindfulness, aromatherapy, and holistic support. As a NBC-HWC, I support clients with whole food nutrition, breath work, mindful practices, grocery store tours and home edits into my practice of creating a sustainable whole-health approach to wellness that is bioindividual to each client."
