12 years experience

"As a Nationally Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) with over a decade of experience in health and athletic coaching, I am dedicated to empowering individuals to achieve meaningful, lasting improvements in their mental well-being. My approach is rooted in whole-person health, focusing on the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit. I help clients envision their ideal selves and guide them in taking small, intentional steps toward their goals, creating sustainable change that aligns with their values and life circumstances. I specialize in Mental Well-being Coaching, working across the spectrum of mental health—from addressing everyday challenges like acute to moderate depression, anxiety, and stress to enhancing mental performance for those seeking to excel. My clients have ranged from elite athletes and successful professionals to LGBTQ+ individuals and the general population. I help clients clarify their values, identify their strengths, and set realistic-actionable goals. By breaking larger visions into achievable steps, I enable clients to build confidence and momentum, celebrating progress along the way. With a Master of Arts in Integrative Health & Well-Being Coaching from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Colorado-Boulder, I bring both academic expertise and practical experience to my work. My foundation in psychology and integrative health enables me to create evidence-based, client-centered coaching programs that honor each individual’s unique needs, strengths, and lived experiences. In addition to running my private practice, Whole You Health, I serve as adjunct faculty at the University of Houston and Northwestern Health Sciences University, where I design and teach graduate-level courses in Integrative Health & Well-Being Coaching. My teaching emphasizes NBHWC Coaching standards, and culturally sensitive, client-led approaches informed by the social determinants of health. Outside of my Health & Well-being coaching, I spent nearly a decade coaching college hockey, working with athletes at all levels, including NCAA Division 1, Division 3, and ACHA Division 1. I also served as a 3X Team USA National Development Camp Coach, where I mentored and developed top-tier talent and coached multiple Olympians. In my coaching career, I supported multiple teams to achieve their season-high in wins and secure national tournament berths. This experience has deepened my understanding of the mental and physical demands of high-level athletes and reinforced the importance of mental fitness in achieving success. When I’m not coaching, I enjoy spending time outdoors, whether it’s paddleboarding, cross-country skiing, or connecting with friends and family. My personal experiences have shown me the importance of balancing work and play in a well-lived life. I am passionate about creating positive change in mental well-being and whole-person health. Whether working one-on-one, in group settings, or collaborating with organizations, I am committed to helping people thrive in all areas of their lives. Let’s connect to explore how I can support you or your organization in fostering resilience, growth, and well-being."
