"Movement Heals—My Journey to Coaching I have always believed in the power of movement—not just physical movement, but the ability to evolve, grow, and push forward, even in the face of life’s biggest challenges. From my earliest days as a gymnast and cheerleader to my career spanning over 25 years in healthcare, movement has shaped my philosophy: taking small steps forward leads to transformative strides toward health and wellbeing. The Foundation: From Athlete to Healthcare Professional My journey started with a deep love for sports and a fascination with the human body’s capacity for resilience and recovery. As a certified athletic trainer, I worked with elite athletes—Division 1 competitors, Olympians, and professionals—guiding them through injury prevention, recovery, and peak performance strategies. It was exhilarating to help them push beyond their limits while ensuring long-term health, and I quickly learned that success wasn’t just about physical ability—it was about mindset, discipline, and holistic care. Seeking a broader impact, I transitioned into medicine as a Physician Assistant (PA-C), working across specialties including gastroenterology and liver disease, emergency medicine, ophthalmology, and medical research. Every interaction reinforced a core truth: healthcare should not be reactive—it should be proactive, empowering individuals to take ownership of their wellbeing. It was an honor to earn the trust of patients, guide them through complex health concerns, and help them reclaim their vitality. However, I also saw the gaps—patients struggling to maintain lasting changes, professionals burning out under relentless demands, and individuals searching for deeper purpose beyond their careers. The Pivot: From Clinical Work to Coaching Through my own experiences with burnout, I intimately understand the pressures of high-performing careers and the struggle to prioritize health amidst responsibilities. I had spent years helping others heal, yet I had to pause and ensure I was also taking care of myself. This realization ignited a shift in my professional path—one that combined my medical expertise with a more personalized, transformational approach to health and wellbeing. That’s when I embraced coaching as the missing link in modern medicine—the bridge between knowledge and sustainable change. Instead of treating symptoms, I want to help individuals cultivate lasting wellness, resilience, and purpose. Coaching allows me to guide clients in defining success on their own terms and leveraging their strengths to create meaningful, long-term health strategies. I understand their drive, their dedication, and sometimes, their isolation. More importantly, I know how to help them channel those same qualities into sustainable wellbeing. Life happens. One reschedule per client is allowed with 24-hour notice. We’ll work together to keep your momentum strong.

How much time will this take each week?

Plan for about 45 minutes every week for sessions, and 15–30 minutes weekly for check-ins, reflection, and habit practice.
