Health coaching focuses on lifestyle changes, habit-building, and goal-setting. It is collaborative and supportive, not diagnostic or prescriptive medical advice.
It depends on your goals. Some clients achieve clarity and actionable steps in a single session, while others benefit from ongoing sessions for continued support and accountability. Typically a client will schedule a 1 hour session to start and then 30 min check in sessions for on-going accountability and support. These check in sessions are scheduled at a frequency that works for the client-weekly, every 2 weeks, or monthly.
Health coaching can support lifestyle changes that improve overall wellness and help manage conditions like stress, sleep issues, or weight management. It is not a replacement for medical care, it is about habit change. You also do not have to have any specific diagnosis or condition to benefit from health coaching just a desire to change an aspect of your life.
